The York Covehead Pastoral Charge is a 4-point charge consisting of churches in Dunstaffnage, West Covehead, York and Stanhope, PEI, Canada, as pictured below. The churches are Central United, St. James United, York United and Stanhope United respectively. We would love to have you join us for services. Please see the schedule under “Upcoming Services”.
Where sre west covehead church, york and Stanhope located? Directions please. I live at Empty Nest Apartments Stanhope and looking for nearest church.
The church closest to you would be Stanhope Church. It is only about 2 km from you, on the very same road, just keep heading towards the park from Empty Nest apartments and you will see the church right on the edge of the road, on the right hand side just across from the intersection with the Bayshore Rd. I have included the schedule for the next few weeks. It is kept updated on the website as well.
Nov 27 Central – 9:30 am West Covehead- 11:00 am
Dec 4 Central -9:30 am York – 11:00 am Stanhope (Rev Noble)- 11:00 am
Dec 11 Central- 9:30 am York -11:00 am West Covehead (Rev Noble)- 11:00 am
You will see that Stanhope usually alternates services with St. James United in West Covehead. To get to that church (the next closest to you), you would head towards town and turn right onto the West Covehead Rd just as you pass the North Shore Community Centre. You drive down the West Covehead road for a good little way. It turns into the Black River Rd and the church is on the right hand side, just before you reach the intersection with the MacMillan Point Rd.
We would love to have you join us. Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us and do not hesitate to do so again if I can be of any more help!
